"We would do well to slow down a little, focus on the significant, lift up our eyes and truly see the things that matter most.
Strength comes not from frantic activity, but from being settled on a firm foundation of truth and light.
It comes from paying attention to the divine things that matter most." Elder Uchtdorf

Christmas Vacation

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation. It was SO nice having Levi home (with no homework or tests) for TWO WHOLE weeks! He works so hard, we're glad he was able to have a break. Christine worked at Gold's Gym in the daycare, but besides that we were home together most of the time. All of Christine's 6 siblings and 21 nieces and nephews were in town, so we spent a lot of time at Grandpa and Grandma's house playing and eating. Fun, for sure!
Gideon got a little garage with cars that we thought he would love the most, but the basketball hoop from Ethan and Natalie was the real hit. For two weeks after Christmas, every time he got up from a nap or in the morning he would be pointing downstairs yelling, "BALL, BALL." He loves it! Levi got a media player that holds music and movies, and he's been about the same as Gideon with the basketball hoop!
The best part of Christmas was remembering the Savior, and sharing the story with Gideon for the first time (we hope he'll pay more attention next year!). Enjoy the pictures!

And what was Christine's favorite gift? Sounds like you had a great time.
