We really love our Gideon- he is bright and independent!
This is Gideon trying to say "Cheese!" with his eyes open...

Yesterday, Gideon found some cupcakes in the fridge and asked for one. As I handed him the cupcake, he declared, "Mom, this is the goodest cupcake I never ate! Thanks to you, Mom!"
A couple of things really quick (because if I am in his sight, he is trying to get my attention- always!)...
When we potty-trained Gideon we taught him to "tap-tap" with toilet paper when he was done going potty. He did great at first, but lately he's been resisting the "tap-tap" part...
Today he found a belt he hasn't worn in awhile and wanted me to put it on him. I tried to convince him that it wasn't the greatest idea because it would be hard for him to pull up his pants, but he insisted. When I came downstairs a minute ago, he was walking around with his pants around his knees because he had gone to the bathroom and couldn't get them back up because of the belt. As I was helping him get his pants back up he cheerfully said, "Mommy, I went 'tap-tap' with my belt... I didn't need toy-et paper because I had a belt!"Yesterday, Gideon found some cupcakes in the fridge and asked for one. As I handed him the cupcake, he declared, "Mom, this is the goodest cupcake I never ate! Thanks to you, Mom!"

I love catching up on you and your family--Gideon is awesome! And good luck with tap-tap =o) I might have to ask you for some tips on training Alex!
Adorable!! Who knew belts could come in so handy?! :)
I love the snowman pics, too - and the "warm chocolate." What a cute boy. And you're a fabulous mom to roll in the snow with him!
I seriously LOVE Gideon's crazy eyes! He is so stinkin' cute and quite the looker!
And love the idea about calling it the "tap-tap" - wish Brinton could pick up that habit. I try my best to assist and encourage.
I sooooo miss you. I, too, am glad we can keep in touch via blogs!
