"We would do well to slow down a little, focus on the significant, lift up our eyes and truly see the things that matter most.
Strength comes not from frantic activity, but from being settled on a firm foundation of truth and light.
It comes from paying attention to the divine things that matter most." Elder Uchtdorf

Beautiful Music

I am SO grateful for beautiful things. They make my spirit sing (probably because it remembers a little bit of home).

This song is one of those beautiful things that makes me thankful for the Lord's creations and the amazing talents with which He has blessed his children (in this case, many of them combined) to help us remember Him and enlarge our souls.

Just listen a little and see if your spirit doesn't do a little humming of it's own...

That was SO awesome! I've always loved Jon Schmidt ever since I first saw him in concert at EFY when he played his famous "Waterfalls" song. The spirit of music is something that is very heavily on my mind right now since I'm the choir director in my ward, and you are so right about enjoying the talents that the Lord has blessed his children with. Watching that also made me miss Utah and EFY and BYU-Idaho and all of those wonderfully fun GOOD things I have had access to in my life. But I'm grateful to be on this side of the country too, where I can help introduce these kinds of good things to the people around here that "know not where to find it." You're so great, Christine! Thanks for sharing!
