"We would do well to slow down a little, focus on the significant, lift up our eyes and truly see the things that matter most.
Strength comes not from frantic activity, but from being settled on a firm foundation of truth and light.
It comes from paying attention to the divine things that matter most." Elder Uchtdorf

Relief

So, Mars Co. is giving out coupons for free candy bars every friday, and after FHE last night (what, last night wasn't Monday?!?), we all went to the grocery store to redeem ours.
Gideon chose a 3 Musketeers, Levi chose M&M's, and I, also, chose a 3 Musketeers... there's just something about all that ethereal nougat that gets me every time. Until your husband gives it to your 1 year-old to keep him quiet while you check out at the store. Then, it's not so much ethereal, as just smashed.
You should have heard him scream when we took it away! He actually got to the chocolate, and he knew that he was onto something really, really good.

Hey it kept him quiet for a good ten minutes, until we took it away and he really let us have it! (Levi)

How funny that you found my food blog! I am so flattered to have a "follower" :) I think you should totally start one too. I am always looking for new things to make and love to see what everyone else is making/eating. I will have to take a look at that America's Test Kitchen cookbook. Also, my Kitchenaid is the Artisan model but I don't really know what that means! We registered for it at Crate & Barrell and it was the only model they had. We just liked the color! It has always worked well for me, but I have mostly used it for regular baking - not bread making. I would love to hear more about your homemade bread. Yum! Yes, you should definitely start a food blog!
